Challenge from day one

Scandpower believes that the best learning comes from on the job training, in the sense of an apprenticeship. New hires are put in positions where experienced consultants both guide and lead them through their first tasks in a professional yet supportive environment. Each recruit is assigned a mentor, who will supervise the employee in the activities during the first year. They are encouraged to ask questions, with the expectation that the learning curve will be steep and rewarding.

As a new consultant your role may vary based on prior experience and background, along with your individual skill sets. As a minimum, new consultants can expect to be responsible for significant technical analysis, modelling, presentation creation, attending client meetings, taking technical notes, and helping the team to deliver meaningful and innovative solutions to clients.

You will be on strategic selected projects that aim to enhance and develop your skills, work in teams with experts in the field, develop your skills in collaboration and also be expected to take on early responsibility.

Opportunities to work across all domains

New consultants will join a group in one of Scandpower's divisions. They are encouraged to complete a wide range of projects that take them through many different areas of our safety and risk management business.

Work-life balance

Naturally we expect our staff to set high standards of their work, but we also encourage them to pursue their interests outside of work, because that makes them better consultants and more interesting people.

We regularly arrange team building sessions, excursions and other social events to help our consultants to get to know each other better outside work. The aim is to create a better environment amongst the staff and enhance communication and spirits of team work within the firm.
